What to expect

We will arrive on the day of your gathering in good time to set up and cook your meat. Don’t worry if it’s raining, our spit roast machine operates indoors as it is completely smoke free or right outside the door well covered by our gazebo. Cooking times are;

Lamb 2/3 hours (See our Lamb Roast Menu)

Pork 4/5 hours (See our Hog Roast Menu)

Beef ribs 2/3 hours (Phone for details)

We will arrive at your venue a number of hours before serving time, depending on the type and size of event.  While the meat is cooking we will have plenty of time to set up the gazebo if required and anything else such as preparing salads and laying out side dishes on our buffet table. When the meat is ready the chef will carve and serve.  It is now ready to eat fresh off the spit – but don’t worry if some of your guests aren’t quite hungry enough (or late!) as it will keep nice and hot in our bain marie. Your guests can help themselves to any side dishes and then come straight to the spit to be served by our chef.  We always remove parts of the animal (eg. the head) which may cause offence to sensitive guests.
